एक व्यस्त भारतीय शहर की हलचल भरी सड़कें। लोग जल्दबाजी में गुजरते हैं, फुटपाथों पर लाइन लगाने वाली महिलाओं की दुनिया से बेखबर।
आईएनटी। रश्मी का अपार्टमेंट - दिन
रश्मि एक अखबार उठाती है और 2 जून को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय यौनकर्मी दिवस के बारे में एक लेख पढ़ती है। तिथि के महत्व को महसूस करते हुए उसकी आँखें चौड़ी हो जाती हैं।

आईएनटी। सामुदायिक केंद्र - दिन
रश्मि एक हलचल भरे सामुदायिक केंद्र में प्रवेश करती है। यौनकर्मियों के अधिकारों के लिए काम करने वाली एक कार्यकर्ता नैना (40 के दशक, गर्मजोशी से) उसका स्वागत करती है।

(उत्तेजित)
रश्मि, तुमने कर दिखाया! आज हमारा दिन है। हम उन मुद्दों के बारे में जश्न मनाने और जागरूकता बढ़ाने जा रहे हैं जिनका हम सामना कर रहे हैं।
आईएनटी। सामुदायिक केंद्र - हॉल - दिन
हॉल को रंग-बिरंगी सजावट से सजाया गया है। अलग-अलग पृष्ठभूमि और उम्र के यौनकर्मी इकट्ठा होते हैं, कहानियों और अनुभवों को साझा करते हैं।
नैना दर्शकों को संबोधित करते हुए पोडियम पर खड़ी हैं।

रश्मि मोमबत्तियों से घिरी अपनी छोटी सी मेज पर बैठी है। वह अपने छोटे स्व को एक पत्र लिखती है।
रश्मी (वी.ओ.)
प्रिय छोटी रश्मि, मैं उस दर्द और संघर्ष को जानती हूँ जिसका आपने सामना किया है। लेकिन आज, एकजुटता के इस दिन, मैं आपके और हम जैसे अनगिनत अन्य लोगों के सपनों के लिए लड़ने का वादा करता हूं।
एक्सटी। सामुदायिक केंद्र - छत - रात
रश्मि, नैना और अन्य यौनकर्मी रात के आकाश में लालटेन छोड़ती हैं। लालटेन आशा, स्वतंत्रता और उन सपनों का प्रतीक है जिन्हें वे पूरा करना चाहते हैं।
जैसे ही लालटेन चढ़ती है, रश्मि नैना को देखती है, उसकी आँखों में दृढ़ संकल्प जलता है।

नैना मुस्कुराती है, यह जानकर कि रश्मि को उसकी आवाज़ और उद्देश्य मिल गया है।

INT. COMMUNITY CENTER - DAY
Rashmi enters a bustling community center. She is welcomed by NAINA (40s, warm-hearted), an activist working for the rights of sex workers.

Rashmi sits at her small desk, surrounded by candles. She writes a letter to her younger self.

Dear Younger Rashmi, I know the pain and struggles you've faced. But today, on this day of solidarity, I promise to fight for your dreams and those of countless others like us.
EXT. COMMUNITY CENTER - ROOFTOP - NIGHT
Rashmi, Naina, and other sex workers release lanterns into the night sky. The lanterns symbolize hope, freedom, and the dreams they yearn to fulfill.
As the lanterns ascend, Rashmi looks at Naina, determination burning in her eyes.
